いよいよ始まりました。DUKEでの初日。今日はオリエンテーションデーです。
そうはいっても、朝8時に集合、予定はびっちり。

今日は、学校から上半身はジャケット＆タイの指定をされ、朝からいきなりフォトセッション。例のデーターベースに掲載する写真を撮って行きます。
周囲はいたってフレンドリー。まあ、正直ちょこっと緊張はしていたのですが、意外にも親しみ易くて、あっという間に様々な友人が出来ました。
日本からは僕だけで、文化の近い韓国からも例年いるのですが今回はなし。
アジアと言えば中国が占めています。
交換留学生は、総勢60名。
フランス、イタリア系と中国系が圧倒的多数を占めるでしょうか？
オーストラリアも意外に多いです。
マイノリティーの環境ですが、日本の力をみせてやろうじゃありませんか。
しかし、KBSの海外派遣先との関係は強いです。
HECやNUS、たっきーのいっているストックホルムなど、KBSがコネクションを持っている学校は皆KBSの存在と価値を認めています。
とりわけ、ESSEC!
今回もESSECからの派遣が結構いますが、KBSのことをよく知っており、大変フレンドリーでした。
さて、朝行って驚いたのは、まあ、しっかりと朝食が準備されています。朝一番の授業には、マフィンやスコーン、そしてスターバックスコーヒーのサービスがあります。
教室の前に置いてあって、好きにとっていっていいのです。
スタバ好きの僕としては、非常にありがたい環境ですね。朝８時からの授業を積極的に取ろうかな。。。
今日は、隣にいた、NUSからの留学生のインドネシア人二人と、中国人で授業の後、モールに行ってきました。積極的に動き回って行きたいと思います！
